4TAE

Known for his smooth, sexy sounds, 4TAE is a Baltimore-based musician specializing in the trombone, vocals, and songwriting.

4TAE’s passion for music began with the drums in his high school marching band. During his senior year, he fell in love with the trombone and entered Morgan State University with a scholarship in music. His professional career began in 2005 playing with the renowned Eubie Black Legacy Jazz Band and internationally-known soul band, Marcell and the Truth.

He’s played alongside various, notable artists, such as jazz violinist Regina Carter and Raheem Devaughn. He has opened up for many prominent artists, such as Anthony David, Anthony Hamilton, Algebra Blessett, and Lupe Fiasco.

Currently, 4TAE plays trombone with nationally acclaimed bands, such as Jah Works, Black Root Underground, The Cleanse, and Marcell and the Truth.

Along with the trombone, 4TAE excels at piano, bass guitar, and production work. He is currently working on his debut EP, “Blue Hart.” His music is described as a smooth explosion of hip-hop and R&B.
